Network Server Installation Guide
The Network Server Installation MUST be performed on the server itself. This cannot be remotely installed.
Description:
The Network Server configuration of Premium Pro Enterprise© allows multiple users to simultaneously access Returns. Company data will be saved on one machine, the network server.
Requirements:
Premium Pro Enterprise© is a Java based program, and uses IBM’s Cloudscape. Java 5.0 (or later) and Cloudscape 10.1 will need to be installed on the network server.
Cloudscape 10.1 is a third party freeware program provided by IBM. It is designed to house a database and allow multiple users to access that database. (It is also known as Apache Derby.)
Once Java and Cloudscape are installed, the Premium Pro Enterprise© database may then be installed on the network server.
This installation guide will walk you through the necessary steps to install and configure all of these programs for the Network Server.
