Server Installation


  1. Go   HERE   for the installation.

  2. Once the file is downloaded, click on Run.

  3. The installation program will start up. When you are asked where to install, navigate to the server.

    You can either use a mapped drive or fill in a fully qualified path.

    For example: "\\Server1\Premium"



  4. When asked "Where would you like to create product icons?", select On the Desktop.



  5. When finished, an icon will be on your desktop. This will run the program locally, even though the program files are on the server.



  6. Double click on the icon to start the program.

  7. Enter a registered username and password and click Login.


    (Please note that the version number displayed in this image may differ from the one displayed in the most recent version of Premium Pro Enterprise)

  8. When you reach the dialog to choose your Install Type, choose Server Installation.



    Note: The Server Installation MUST be performed before any Workstation Installation can be performed. If you chose Workstation, and there hasn't been a Server setup, you will receive the following dialog.



  9. On the next dialog, enter the appropriate information needed to connect to your network database. Click the Test Server button to verify you are able to connect to the database. You should see Connection Successful.



  10. Finish the Installation Wizard.

The network server is now ready for users to create Workstation installs to this server. Note: all users will be accessing the same database, the one you previously configured.
